Smartatives is a U.S.-based cosmetic ingredient company focused on developing, manufacturing, and selling innovative raw materials for the personal care and cosmetics industry. The company’s mission is to provide smarter cosmetic ingredients that combine performance, innovation, formulation simplicity, and market-driven technology.

Smartatives will sell directly to cosmetic manufacturers while also utilizing distributors and inside sales to expand its customer base throughout the United States.

The Smartatives business is organized around four complementary technology platforms. Smartative – Specialized Ingredients focus on differentiated individual ingredients designed to provide targeted benefits in skin and hair care formulations. ComplexIQ offers multifunctional blended systems that combine Smartative technologies with complementary ingredients to deliver measurable benefits while simplifying formulation.

Verolis focuses on Natural & Naturally Derived Alternatives, addressing the growing demand for effective ingredients that support natural and clean-beauty formulation strategies. Preservology – The Science of Preservatives will focus on alternative and natural preservation technologies, with a planned commercial expansion in 2028.

Innovation and technical support will differentiate Smartatives from traditional ingredient suppliers. The company has established in-house laboratory capabilities for evaluating both skin and hair performance, allowing Smartatives to generate technical data demonstrating ingredient efficacy. Selected technologies will be protected through patents, while company and platform names will be protected through trademarks.

Smartatives ingredients will be manufactured through qualified ISO-certified facilities, with selected platform technologies produced in GMP facilities in the United States.

The overall strategy is to build a focused, technically driven cosmetic ingredient company that combines specialized ingredients, intelligent complexes, natural alternatives, preservation technology, strong intellectual property, performance testing, customer samples, and technical sales support under one unified Smartatives brand.
